A rare set of three late 16th-century English carved oak figural terms, two panels depicting classical male forms and one as a female with stylised drapery and architectural detailing. These sculptural fragments once adorned a grand domestic or ecclesiastical interior, likely serving as decorative supports or embellishments within a Tudor or Elizabethan setting.
Carved from solid English oak, the panels retain traces of original tooling and exhibit deep relief work typical of the period, with symbolism. One figure bears two harps, one carries a head and the third has incised sunbusts carved into its surface.
