Single 18th-Century Antique Treen / Turned Wooden Candlestick
An 18th-Century turned wooden candlestick formed on a pole-lathe.
The single candle socket with ribbed decoration and a short stem with banded decoration leading to a raised circular base.
This stick has good patination.
Provenance - Unknown.
Condition - Please refer to the images. There is age related wear. There is a minor loss to the rim of the candle socket (possibly caused by old.fire damage) and signs of a repair to the base of the stem. The base also has an age related split in-part to one side but this is stable. The stick remains useable. A further detailed condition report is available upon request.
