A rare pair of mid-19thC primitive American School antique reverse glass / painted on glass portrait panels.
Naively painted depicting a gentleman and his wife standing full-length in a room interior setting.
Presented within wooden frames, the frames are stamped "SARAH EDELMAN NEW YORK". Whether this is the artist, we are unsure.
Provenance - Unknown.
Condition- Please refer to the images. There is minor surface wear commensurate with age. The portraits do present well. A further detailed condition report is available upon request.
