A documented mid-16thC English antique pewter and brass candlestick.
The single candle socket with a wide,flat, flange over a knopped stem and circular drip-tray, supported overall on a flared base with brass footrim.
Provenance - Former David Little Collection, Christies, King Street, London, 1 May 2001, Lot 81, when dated to circa 1660.

Condition - Please refer to the images. Cleaned. General marks and wear, some corrosion to the flange. A further detailed condition report is available upon request..
