A pair of 17th-century English antique carved oak appliqués.
Both of oval form, one carved as a lions mask with cut-out apertures and decorative bead work to the outer edge. The other, carved in the solid with a sight hound to the centre placed within a shield, the oval edge of plain form.
Presented on red velvet mounts and set within contemporary oak frames.
These display very well.
Provenance - Ex-USA based private collection.
Condition - Please refer to the images. There is some surface wear to the carvings commensurate with age. A further detailed condition report is available upon request
