A richly patinated pair of mid-19th-century Gothic Revival antique carved oak panels, each shaped as an architectural arch and deeply worked in the Gothic style. Dating to the mid-19th century, these French carvings reflect the romantic medievalism that swept across Europe during the Victorian era.
Each panel features crisp tracery and stylised foliate motifs evocative of cathedral architecture. The warm oak surface has developed a beautiful aged patina, enhancing the depth and character of the carving.
Originally intended for ecclesiastical or decorative interior use, these arches are ideal for framing, restoration, or integration into bespoke furniture or architectural projects. They also stand alone as sculptural accents with a strong historical presence.

Condition: Good antique condition with minor signs of age.
