A pair of 16th-century Dutch antique brass capstan candlesticks.
Also known as "rokkandelaars" candlesticks, translated from Dutch meaning "skirt sconce" candlesticks.
Each stick with a single socket with ejection aperture over a knopped stem, circular drip pan and supported on a flared circular base.
Provenance - Unknown.
Condition - Please refer to the images. There are minor knocks and dents commensurate with age. The is a minor, historic, filled solder repair to one stick. A further detailed condition report is available upon request.
