Mid 19th-Century English Antique Gothic Revival Turned Wooden Bowl, Bearing The Initial "H"
A mid-19thC Gothic Revival antique turned wooden bowl of small proportions.
English origin.
The bowl with a raised rim. The outer surface carved with the gothic letter "H" set within a shield-shaped cartouche with scrolled border and inset with vines and foliage. A carved band of flowers, foliage and vines also decorates the circumference of the outer surface. Supported overall on a turned and raised circular foot.
Provenance - Ex private collection, Leicestershire.
Condition - Good as per the images. No chips or cracks. A further detailed condition report is available upon request.
