A mid-17thC English antique oak box stool.
With a well-figured single-piece plank top with double-reeded edge. The front supporting apron retains its original lock plate (the lid has its iron hasp too), the lower edge with mouldings. Supported overall on baluster-turned legs, united by plain stretchers.
With its original lock and key.
Provenance - unknown.
