A carved limestone head of an unknown deity.
Medieval period. Probably 15thC or earlier.
With some minor traces of original polychromy.
Presented on a contemporary steel stand with ebonised finish.
This head displays well in its own right be it in a contemporary setting or traditional home.
Provenance - Acquired within East Anglia, England.
