Late 17th-Century English Antique Oak Spice Cupboard
A good late 17th-century English antique oak spice cupboard.
With a moulded cornice above a single elongated door with fielded panel, terminating on a moulded base. The door, connected by way of original iron butterfly hinges to the carcass opens to reveal an original nterior fitted with an arrangement of two recesses over eight drawers.
The smaller six drawers retain their original leather pull handles. The bottom two drawers have later cord for pull-handles.
Provenance - Sourced within the UK.
Condition - Please refer to the images. The door lacks its original handle. The lock no longer functions. Two leather pull-handles have been replaced with cord.
