One of the best bentwood boxes we have had for some time and an impressive size too!
Scandinavian origin. Circa 1780.
Completely original, with iron bindings, original lock, hasp and key which still functions.
The external surface still retaining its original paint/stain.
Condition - as per the images. Surface wear is commensurate with age.
Size - Width 53.3 cm (21") x Depth 34.3 cm (13 1/2") x Height 21.6 cm (8 1/2")
