Large 17th-Century Spanish Antique "La Corbata" Tin-Glazed Earthenware Blue & White Charger

Produced in Spain in the 17th-century.
Known as "La Corbata" earthenware, these ceramics were made in the Catalan region of Spain close to Barcelona.
Decorated in blue and white tin glaze, the charger depicts a female figure in period attire to the centre, holding a bouquet of flowers and flanked by foliate forms, the rim decorated with a repeated pattern of lines and elonagted foliage.
Provenance - Sourced directly from a private collection based in Spain.
Condition - the charger has a firing fault which has been in-filled with glaze at the time of manufacture. Please see the last but one image. This does not detract from the charger which still displays well. There are some glaze losses and fritting as one would expect. Verso, the base has some losses and a wire hanger has been placed for wall mounting by the previous owner This will be removed at the point of any sale if required. Please refer to the images.
