Product variants

A 16th-Century, iron-bound, dome-topped wooden chest with iron bindings, lockplate and carry-handles.

European in origin, possibly Germany or Northen Europe.

Supported by an associated base of 17th-century date with a moulded apron and four "ball" feet.

Provenance - Unknown. The chest bears an old Swediah antiques dealers label to the underside of the lid.

Condition - Please refer to the images. There is surface wear commensurate with age. The chest no longer locks albeit keys are included.

Size - Length approx. 84 cm x width 47 cm x height 80 cm (33" x 18 1/2" x 31")
