A very large 18th-Century English antique armorial hatchment / Coat of Arms of The United Kingdom of Great Britain, centred by The Royal Arms of The Electorate of Hanover (King George).
Oil on panel with gilt and polychrome. Presented in an ebonised frame.
Most probably originating from a historical church.
Provenance - Formerly owned by a rifle club in Nottingham, England who had it on display on the their wall for many years.
Condition - Generally in good condition. Please refer to the images. There are a couple age-related cracks where panel boards have parted. Another minor blemish is noted where a knot in the timber has moved very slightly due to age. A further detailed condition report is available upon request.
