A charming 18th Century Italian antique walnut-veneered architectural model of a Roman temple.
Constructed with an oak carcass and overlaid with walnut veneer and inlaid marquetry veneer decoration.
With an elongated and cushion-formed pediment above a niche, inset with a neo-classical bronze statue of Venus. Supported by a base of polygon form and terminating on a shaped foot.
This item has the most wonderful patination.
