A Renaissance style, large 19th Century antique oil on canvas, entitled The Mystic Marriage of St. Catherine of Alexandria. After the original painted in the 16th-Century by Correggio.
The original is a notable work of the High Renaissance. Executed in oil on wood panel, it is currently held in the Parma National Gallery, located in Parma, Italy.
Provenance - unknown.
Condition - As per the images. The painting has been later lined on to board. There is surface wear to the paint commensurate with age. A further detailed condition report is available upon request.
