A beautifully proportioned Early Georgian English oak side table, dating to around 1730, displaying the quiet elegance and honest craftsmanship of early 18th‑century domestic furniture. Made from solid oak with a warm, naturally matured surface, this table embodies the restrained refinement of the Georgian period — functional, well‑balanced, and built to last.
The rectangular top sits above a plain frieze, with a single drawer, and stands on four straight legs, giving the piece a clean, architectural silhouette typical of early Georgian design. The oak has developed a rich, mellow patina over nearly three centuries, with the kind of depth and character only time can produce. Its simplicity allows it to sit comfortably in both period and contemporary interiors.
