Early 19th-Century English Antique Sycamore Butter Worker
An early 19th Century Engiish antique butter worker, also known as a "butter pouncer" in the West of England.
Turned from sycamore, these shallow saucer-shaped devices with a central wooden handle, were used for working the water out of butter in the days when butter was made by hand.

Provenance - Ex-private collection, Norfolk, England.
Condition - Please refer to the images. There are minor traces of old historic worm activity however this is long since gone and has been treated too as a precautionary measure. A further detailed condition report is available upon request.
