An early 18thC Continental antique pine (deal) tabletop document box.
Possibly Germanic in origin.
Dovetailed construction with a slightly domed lid and iron strap work hinges and decorative iron escutcheon.
The lid opens by way of its original lock and key to reveal a void interior.
Condition - As per the images. The lock is missing. A further detailed condition report is available upon request.
