An early 18th-Century antique olivewood collectors cabinet with an associated stand.

Continental origin.

The cabinet surface has wonderful colour and patination.

The cabinet, with a caddy top over two doors incorporating fielded panels, which open to reveal a compartmentalised interior with pigeon holes and an arrangement of eleven drawers and a central cupboard. There are iron carry handles at each side.

Supported on an associated base with a single elongated drawer which opens to reveal a void interior, four barley-twist legs, united by a shaped "x" stretcher,

All metalware / door furniture and locks (keys included) are original.

Provenance - Unknown.

Condition - Old marks and general surface wear. There is a very minor age-related split to corner section of the stand and leg. Please refer to the images.
