An early 17thC antique iron and leather bound box of unusual form.
Scandinavian in origin.
The carcass is constructed from deal (pine).
With it's original iron carry-handle and hasp. The domed lid opens to reveal an interior void of any fittings.
Provenance - Sourced directly from Sweden.
Condition - as per the images. Losses and surface wear commensurate with age. A further detailed condition report is available upon request.
