A 17thC antique embroidered panel.

English origin.

With solid silver thread, the border is decorated with flowers and foliage surrounding a cartouche depicting a winged angel with the image of Christ set upon a shroud.

Condition - Some fading, surface dirt, and a couple of minor perforations are apparent which are commensurate with age. Mounted upon a later backing card. Offered for sale unframed. This item continues to display well. A further detailed condition report is available upon request.
