A fine example of Dutch Delft tin-glazed earthenware, decorated in underglaze manganese purple with a stylised bulbous flower vase issuing a flowering spray, flanked by leaves and buds, all within a triple-line roundel.
The central vaas met bloemen motif — drawn with confident, fluid brushwork — reflects the strong influence of Chinese Wanli kraak porcelain imported by the VOC, the flower vase being among the most characteristic and enduring of Delft decorative subjects.
Lattice corner motifs frame the composition, consistent with Delft and Rotterdam production of the early to mid-18th century. The warm, creamy-white tin glaze shows characteristic crazing throughout; the reverse retains its original sandy, unglazed buff earthenware body. Minor glaze loss to the left edge, a firing fault consistent with age. Fitted with a later wire display stand.
Provenance: Holland. Early-to-mid 18th century.

Condition: With one minor firing fault to the left edge, where the glaze has failed to cover the body. Fitted with a later wire display wire.
