A delightful English antique sewing box with original green velvet pin cushion.
Daring back to the latter years of the reign of George III, circa 1800-1810.
Constructed from mahogany, this box has a fixed lid with fitted pin cushion over a moulded edge. The box is of panelled construction with a single drawer, fitted with its original bone handle. With a moulded base and supported on turned feet. The drawer opens to reveal a void interior.
Provenance - Found within North Norfolk, UK.
Condition - Good as per the images
Size - Width 18.5 cm x Depth 10.5 cm x Height 14 cm (7 1/4" x 4 1/8" x 5 1/2")
