A 17th-century antique oak table top box of small proportions.
Nailed construction. Made from six oak planks with chip-carved edges. The front with a decorative lock plate.
The lid opens to reveal an interior void of any fittings.
Provenance - Unknown.
Condition - Please refer to the images. With traces of minor old worm. Inactive and treated as a precautionary measure. Wire hinges replaced historically and later lock plate. Hasp missing. A further detailed condition report is available upon request.
Size - 45 cm wide x 18 cm deep x 22 cm high (17 3/4" x 7" x 8 2/3").
