A charming, yet naive, English School antique oil on canvas portrait of a mother and her daughter in period attire, circa 1790-1800.
The artist and sitters' are unknown.
The mother portrayed with a white bonnet amd blue silk dress with her child sitting upon her knee holding a flower sprig.
Condition - The portrait has been cleaned and re-lined. It has been re-framed in a blue contemporary frame to compliment the mother's clothes. Overall, the painting displays very well. A further detailed condition report is available upon request.
