A large early-16thC antique carved oak gothic tracery head, circa 1500, of elongated form.
English origin.
Carved with a combination of blind gothic tracery arches and further open arches below with decorative radii.
Possibly once forming part of a rood screen now long since lost.
Offered for sale with traces of original red polychrome.
Provenance - Unknown.
Condition - surface wear commensurate with age. Please refer to the images. A further detailed condition report is available upon request.
