A striking homage to one of the greatest masters of the Baroque—this oil portrait, bearing the signature of the artist " F. Pacquee" is a 20th century interpretation of Peter Paul Rubens’ final self-portrait, rendered with reverence and technical skill.
Executed in oil on canvas and mounted on a later plywood support, the work captures Rubens’ introspective gaze and painterly confidence. The palette is rich, the brushwork evocative, and the composition faithful to the original 17th-century model.
