A mid-17thC Spanish antique collectors cabinet of small proportions. Also known as a bargueno.
With an arrangement of two small drawers over one elongated drawer.
The carcass is decorated with inlaid veneers. The two small drawer fronts have their original escutcheons and are flanked by decorative inlaid fielded panels. The longer drawers continues with the same decoration.
All-in-all, a delightful period cabinet.
Provenance - Acquired directly from Madrid, Spain.
Condition - Please refer to the images. The condition overall is good. There is some surface wear commensurate with age and the escutcheon to the bottom drawer is missing.
