A mid-sized Windsor rocking chair constructed from ash with an elm seat, circa 1850.
With a double bow-back, with a central decorative splat, flanked by spindles, shaped arms with turned and splayed supports set into a shaped figured elm seat with four turned legs below, the back two united by a turned stretcher. Mounted on original rockers.
Provenance - Ex-Beedham collection.
Condition - Please refer to the images. There is surface wear commensurate with age. All joints are sound. A further detailed condition report is available upon request.
