A 19th-century English antique carved stone finial (poppy finial) in Gothic Revival style, featuring stylised foliate motifs and architectural detailing. Likely salvaged from a church, chapel, or civic building, this sculptural fragment evokes the romantic medievalism of the Victorian period.
Carved in limestone with a weathered surface and traces of lichen, the finial retains strong form and crisp detailing. Its scale and silhouette suggest use as a rooftop or gable ornament, now repurposed as a garden feature or interior statement piece.
