A 19th-century English antique copper chamberstick. Used at night to guide a person to the bed chamber!

We liked the quirckiness of this item! This can almost be deemed a piece of 19thC "up-cycling" as a copper cooking pan lid has been made into a lighting device by someone, attaching a single rolled candlesconce, formed from copper, and riveting it to the lid.

With a single rolled candle sconce over a circular base/drip pan (converted pan lid) with a raised outer rim and iron carry handle. The stick can be still be used.
