A 19th-century antique treen tobacco jar.
Dutch in origin.
Wonderfully turned. With a decorative, knopped, handle attached to the lid over a squat baluster-shaped base, supported on three ball feet. The lid opens to reveal an interior lined with a thin lead liner.
Provenance - Unknown.
Condition - Good with lovely color and patination to the outer surface. Please refer to the images. A further detailed condition report is available upon request.
