19th-Century Antique Copper & Brass Riveted Jug / Pitcher

An unusual, yet decorative, 19th-century antique copper jug/pitcher. Most probably continental in origin.
The body is of elliptical, elongated form. The exterior is decorated with a brass band to the rim, one to the centre and one to the base. The copper carry handle is decorated with both brass rivets and punched decoration. It is joined to the body of the jug, again by way of brass rivets.
Provenance - Acquired from a private property in Hempton, Norfolk, England. There are no makers marks.
Condition - Please refer to the images. The elliptical shape appears to have been formed at the time of manufacture. It does not appear to have been deformed. The jug also appears to have been silver-plated historically. There are minor traces of silvering, albeit very time-worn. The jug displays well.
