A fine mid‑18th‑century Dutch Delft tin‑glazed tile, painted in rich cobalt blue with a stylised harbour and architectural landscape enclosed within a circular border.
The corners bear classic ox‑head motifs, emblematic of Delft’s decorative repertoire between 1740 and 1760. The reverse retains its coarse, sanded biscuit typical of period manufacture. A charming survivor from Holland’s golden age of ceramic artistry — ideal for collectors of Delftware or architectural interiors seeking authentic 18th‑century detail.
Provenance: Holland. Mid 18th century.
Material: Tin-glazed earthenware.
Condition: With minor frits, as one would expect from antique Delft. Fitted with a later wire display wire.
