A 17thC English antique oak and elm wall cupboard or mural cupboard of rectangular form.
Plank and nailed construction.
With a plain plank top and single elm door carved with swags and a central rosette, fitted with a drop handle and large iron lock plate. The door is flanked on either side with gouge-carved elm uprights. The door is joined to the carcass by way of iron hinges. Internally, the interior is fitted with two shelves. The cupboard terminates on a plain plank plinth base.
Superb colour too.
Condition - good as per the images. The lock mechanism has been replaced at some point during its life and the hinges also.
