17th Century French Antique Oak Coffer Front Dated 1641 - Ideal as a Headboard
A mid-17th century oak coffer front, named and dated 1641.
Attributed to Breton, France, possibly Tregor,
Having two large panels carved with angels in a foliate boarder, inscribed above 'AV LE RVMVEVR' and dated '1641', within geometric foliate-carved rails.
Ideal as a headboard for that contemporary look, where old meets new or as an overmantel for a fire place or simply to decorate a wall.
Provenance- Unknown.
