A 17th-century French antique brass candlestick, circa 1680.
With a single candle socket and knopped stem supported on a stepped hexagonal base. The base is inscribed "MVH". Presumably the initials of the original owner?
Condition - Good as per the images. There is some surface wear commensurate with age.
Size: Height 19 cm x Base Diameter 11.5 cm ( 7 1/2" x 4 1/2")
