A 17th-Century Flemish antique carved oak appliqué applied to a later oak backing panel.
The head and torso figure depicted carrying a basket of fruit above its head, the right arm bearing a foliate scroll, below, supported overall by an inverted acanthus leaf and scroll-work below.
Provenance - Unknown.
Condition - Please refer to the images. The appliqué displays well. There are traces of old worm. This is inactive and has been treated as a precautionary measure. A further detailed condition report is available upon request.
