For the collector, original English Civil War cavalier uniforms and armour are incredibly expensive to purchase.
Having sourced this privately, we are delighted to offer for sale, a late 19th-century reproduction of a 17th-century English Civil War parliamentarian's cavalry armour which includes a lobster-tailed pot helmet and cuirass. This is offered at a fraction of the price of an original 17th-century example.
The red wool jerkin and linen chemise is also included in the sale - please note that the clothing is late 20th-century however it has been made to the specifications and designs of the 17th-century. The head-and-torso male mannequin is not included in the retail price but can be purchased separately at extra cost.
