A 17th-Century antique pilgrims badge.
Cast from lead.
With a shaped pediment above a date of "1676" with two Saints below, standing full length. The Saints are most likely to be Saint Peter, identified by his key, and Saint Paul with his staff. The badge is likely to commemorate a pilgrimage to Rome given the two Saints' images and used as a symbol of the pilgrims faith.
