A 16thC English antique carved oak panel of "romayne" type depicting a head-and-shoulders side profile portrait of a bearded gentleman set within a roundel.
The corner spandrels are decorated with foliate forms.
Condition - surface wear commensurate with age. Please refer to the images. This panel displays very well.
