An early 18th Century English antique sandstone sundial dated "1710" supported on an associated sandstone plinth base, thought to be an original Roman Altar Stone, naively carved with a primitive figure of a man.

Attributed to the West Country, UK.

Provenance: Acquired from the garden of a property in Norwich. The previous owner purchased this a number of years prior at auction from TW Gaze, Diss, Norfolk.

Condition - surface wear is commensurate with age (weathered). Please refer to the images.  This displays very well. A further detailed condition report is available upon request.
