A rare 17thC English antique brass trumpet-base candlestick, circa 1650-1680, of large proportions.
With a single flared candle sconce / socket with rim, over a ribbed stem, drip-pan and broad flared-base.
Provenance - Unknown.
Condition - Please remember this stick is approximately 370 years old.
There are traces of repairs, specifically a later band repair below the rim of the sconce / candle socket. It does however display well and the repairs are not detrimental to it. A further detailed condition report is available upon request.
