A wonderful 19thC English antique treen / wooden pie peel of lovely mellow colour and fine patina.

A peel is a tool used by bakers to slide loaves of bread, pizzas, pastries, and other baked goods into and out of an oven.

In true pie peel tradition, the cross section tapers down from handle to bottom edge.
