A wonderful 19thC English antique brass candlestand.
With a rise-and-fall stem. The circular pediment/drip pan over a knopped stem with inner movable shaft. Overall, supported on a raised circular base.
The base bears an engraving of The Holy Cross.
This stand would look great in any domestic or ecclesiastical setting.

Size - Height 25.4 cm (10") rising to 36.2 cm (14 1/4") when extended.
