A charming 17thC antique coffret / small table top box, possibly used as a jewellery box.
French origin.
The pine carcass is covered in leather and decorated with stud work. The lid has its original carry handle amd the lock plate, lock, key and hasp remain.
The lid opens to reveal a void interior decorated with fabric.
Provenance - Unknown.
Condition - Good overall. Surface wear is commensurate with age. This coffret displays well. A further detailed condition report is available upon request.
