A 16th-century English antique brass capstan candlestick.
Identifiable as English given the thinner alloy in comparison to its Dutch counterparts which are constructed from thicker alloy.
With a large cast sconce and ejection apertures above a spun bell-shaped base.
Condition - all in all good. There is a minor loss to the foot and some age-related thinning as one would expect given 450+ years of life. An additional condition report is available upon request.
