Description
A set of 3 late 16thC English antique carved oak panels in dry untouched condition with traces of original paint / polychrome.
Each carved with four foliate corner spandrels, a central lozenge in-filled with chip carving and four leaf and bud quartiles.
These probably once formed the decorative front panels of an oak coffer sadly long since lost.
Condition – as per the images. The panels display very well.
Size: Each Panel: Height 33.5 cm x Width 24 cm x Depth 0.75cm (13 1/4″ x 9 1/2″ x 1/2″)
